This Massachusetts Taqueria Is One Of 'Yelp’s Top 100 Taco Spots In America'

There are hundreds of places to get exceptional tacos across the United States, but only one taqueria from Massachusetts was named among the best in the country.

Taqueria El Amigo, located at 196 Willow Street in Waltham (about 20 minutes west of Boston) was included on "Yelp's List of Top 100 Taco Spots in America."

The shop, which was also the only one from New England to make the list, landed at number 60. According to Yelp reviews, Taqueria El Amigo is best known for its taco especiales, beef cheek taco, chicken tacos and more.

"The Chorizo taco is worth not missing," one reviewer said. "Their salsa is fresh and flavor-packed. The tacos are delicious and made fresh with soft corn tortilla, the preferred choice of meat, avocado, and cilantro."

"Amazing, authentic Mexican food," another reviewer said. "It's so hard to find a good vegetarian burrito but this place nails it! Great variety of veggies and lots of FLAVOR."
